Relocation Companies

  • Many people are being relocated with their jobs and we need to be ready to work with relocation companies.

  • In order to work with a relocation you must be a part of their network. Realty ONE Group is a part of the main networks so we are good.

  • Something to know though is that the client is unaware that you as an agent are giving a large chunk of your commission to the relocation company. They don’t need to know either.

  • We need to still give the same great service no matter what.

  • They can be a great source of leads.

NAR Commission Lawsuit

  • What we have learned from this is that we MUST have a Very High level of Communication with ALL of our clients.

  • Everything must be very clearly explained and shown to our clients. They must know everything that is going on throughout the transaction.

  • We need to make sure that our clients are clear on what the commission is, who all is getting paid and how much.

  • We need to know our Value and be able to show and communicate that Value to others. This will eleviate a lot of stress that clients have and give them assurance that we are doing everything in THEIR best interest.

  • Always Be Honest and Professional.

    • Being Professional means that we have great Character. Our Character shows in how we handle certain situations, how we handle ourselves, how we handle questions and how we handle hard things with our clients.

    • It also means that we have great communication and are transparent in all that we do.

    • It also means that we have Knowledge behind what we are talking about and what we are helping them with.

  • We need to start using the word “Advisors” more often. We are peoples Real Estate Advisors. We are not just their Real Estate Agents because this implies that we are only there when they are looking to buy or sell and that we are transactional. We are not!

  • We are there for our clients always. We advise and help them not just while they are buying or selling but anytime for anything that they need. We are always here to help no matter what and with no Pressure.

  • People are more open to receiving help from. an Advisor and Advisors are looked at more highly and openly.
