· Walking your home room by room maximizing the space and appearance
· Proactive calling to buyers and agents along with following up with every showing
The Basic WANTS: these are hot ticket items that aren’t going anywhere.
· New Flooring
· Updated Kitchen
· Updated Bathrooms
Currently, buyers are not as open to remodeling due to cost and time it takes, below are our best tips that you can do to help maximize how much you can get for your home and in the fastest amount of time:
Brighten up the space with a lighter calming color (paint)
Declutter main closets and storage areas
Remove rugs - unless they are under your beds, coffee tables. **hiding the floors will not help you and this will open up the room**
Consider updating light fixtures to help modernize the home without spending thousands
Check all light bulbs to make sure they match the color type & they work
Use white towels for bathrooms for a clean elevated look
Declutter bathroom & kitchen counters **remove everyday items like paper towels, soap dispensers**
Remove items from above cabinets, & above your fridge
Painting cabinets if new cabinets are not an option
Bookshelves/cases should have room for more
Windows cleaned & sun screens removed
Deep clean interior & tidy up landscaping
This one will get some heads turning... we think personal pictures are a plus! Just not too many to distract buyers to see your home, home buying is emotional and when people see others enjoying their family and home, it ignites the possibilities for future memories to be had.
